Terms and Conditions Agreement

BethelAIS provides Christ-centred and classical education that emphasizes good character and academic excellence by graduating highly educated young men and women who are ready to make global impact. Bethel American International School and The Good Samaritan Society of America are Christian organizations. Non-Christian people are welcome, but must understand that all decisions and policies will be derived from our Christian beliefs.

Discipline

We want to provide a pleasant, orderly, and loving atmosphere where children are able to concentrate on their work, follow the lessons taught without hindrance and have the security of knowing that their “workplace” is a safe place. Unless discipline is properly and consistently maintained, this is not possible. Therefore, teachers will have the responsibility for establishing an atmosphere of motivated, disciplined learning in the classrooms. They will expect obedience and respect and will maintain control of classroom behavior. At the discretion of the Principal, parents will be asked to become involved in the discipline process. Parents have primary responsibility for the discipline of their children. The staff will be expected to keep parents informed of disciplinary infractions so that Bethel American International School can work cooperatively with the parents for the benefit of their children. The Principal or the school disciplinary committee reserves the right to suspend or expel students, in accordance with the discipline policy outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook. We anticipate excellent behavior and a spirit of cooperation between the school, the students, and the parents.

Student Standard of Conduct

As a parent/guardian of a child attending Bethel American International School, you will be expected to support the principles listed below: Students at Bethel American International School are expected to follow a standard of conduct in accordance with high Christian principles. As a student of Bethel American International School you will be asked to agree to the following: To cooperate respectfully and obey willingly those in authority To strive for excellence as a student To conform with the dress code that has been set by the school To refrain from dissension, gossip, grumbling, and complaining To submit to the discipline policy of Bethel American International School To maintain high moral standards in words and actions, both on and off campus

Parent Cooperation Agreement

As a parent/guardian of a child attending Bethel American International School, you will be expected to support the principles listed below: I am sufficiently satisfied with the curriculum, teaching methodology, facility, Statement of Faith, personnel, and ideals of the school, to enroll my child at Bethel American International School. I will support the discipline policy of the school. I understand that the school, after consultation with parents, has the final responsibility for deciding the placement of my child in the proper grade level. I will be financially responsible for any damage caused to school property by my child. If problems regarding my child’s education arise, I will discuss matters directly with my child’s teacher(s) and/or the administration. I will attempt to resolve such differences in a manner consistent with Christian behavior/principles. I will support the school and its policies concerning dress, conduct, and all other matters outlined in the Policy Manual. I will assume my part of the responsibility of my child’s education by keeping regular contact with my child’s teachers. I will support, to the best of my ability, the various activities of the school. I will consider supporting Bethel American International School through prayer, time, and financial gifts, as I am able.
