On the 1st of March, 2018, the Bethel AIS book club was inaugurated. The Executive Director, with the assistance of some members of staff laid down the ground rules and regulations of the book club. The secretary of the book club is Abiah Abraham and the two moderators are Unyime Daniel-Akpan and Gold Daniel.

We were given a book titled “The Country I Love” by Iyeyinka AnuOluwahan Omigbodun. I was shocked when I figured out that it was a fourteen year old who wrote the book. The book is inspiring and addressed the phenomenon of a corrupt nation named Nigeria. The book seemed different from every other Nigerian book, it was different.

Everyone took turns in reading sections of the book. And while reading we were rewarded with light refreshments. After the reading of the book, though we weren’t done with it, Mr. Wole Aderinkomi (The Executive Director) told us about a man who had been reading aloud for days because he wanted to break a Guinness World Record. We were also admonished to make the most of our time.
